Mike Gascoigne

Mike Gascoigne is a creationist activist insofar as he is involved with Luke Randall’s web site, is author of two creationist books and has pushed creationism in one or two churches. However, he is not one of the core creationist mafia in the UK. By background Gascoigne is a chemical engineer – his BSc is from the University of Leeds and his master’s degree from the University of Shiraz. He is a technical author nowadays and is based in Blackwater on the Surrey/Hants border. There is no doubt that Gascoigne is a young earth creationist. We would not, though, describe him as high profile.

Here is a quote from him – “Sometimes people ask why someone with a scientific background should be writing historical and theological books, and the answer is that everything fits together, and you can't understand anything in isolation. In particular, if you try to write about the very early history of the world, during the first few centuries after the Flood, people always ask science questions.”
